Biography
Mr. Casey Lawson is an Oklahoma City native who has been practicing insurance law his entire career. Casey joined Mansell and Engel in 2023 and his practice is dedicated 100% to representing policyholders against their insurance companies in relation to wrongfully denied and underpaid property damage claims. He regularly handles claims involving wind and hail damage to commercial and residential losses of all sizes, water losses, and all other disputes. Casey has experience litigating cases from pre-litigation disputes through trial and appellate stages in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Lawson began his legal career working with Rex Travis, from whom he gained practical experience handling a wide variety of personal injury and insurance-related matters. Casey also worked extensively on cases involving uninsured/underinsured motorist policies in Oklahoma and presented a seminar on UM Law for the Oklahoma Association for Justice.
Casey earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. He is licensed to practice in Oklahoma state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
While outside of the office, Casey enjoys cooking for his wife and their two children, visiting the Oklahoma City Zoo, and curating an extensive CD collection.
