Jonathan R. Ortwein is a personal injury lawyer who fights for those who have been hurt and are unable to fight for themselves.
Jonny is originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma for both his undergraduate degree and law school. During law school, Jonny twice represented the University of Oklahoma College of Law nationally in the American Association for Justice’s national mock trial competition – a competition focused on representing people who have been injured by the negligence of others. Jonny’s focus was always to become an active litigator fighting for those who have been hurt and need someone to stand up for them to level the playing field.
Jonny is not afraid to take clients’ cases to trial, having tried cases and fought insurance companies in Oklahoma and Federal district courts and has helped clients obtain millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements. For 2022, Jonny was selected by the National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of their Nationally Ranked Top 10 Under 40 personal injury lawyers. In 2023, Jonny was selected as a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
In his free time, Jonny enjoys spending time with his family, watching OU football, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and going to Lake Texoma every chance he gets.
