Biography
Zachary Housel is happily married with three young boys. Mr. Housel received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2012 and received a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University College of Law in 2016. While in law school, he received numerous honors, including appointment to the university’s Law Review and designation on the Dean’s List. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma in 2016 and is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Oklahoma Association for Justice (Oklahoma's Trial Lawyers Association).
Zachary’s practice is exclusively limited to representing policyholders against their insurance companies. Mr. Housel began his legal career defending insurance companies and their insureds. Zachary advised claims adjusters in the day-to-day handling of insurance claims and defended insurance and bad faith litigation in Oklahoma for some of the largest insurance companies in the country. Zachary joined Mansell & Engel in order to help people wronged by their insurance companies. Mr. Housel has litigated insurance bad faith and “first party” cases his entire career, including participating in jury and bench trials.
Mr. Housel is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts for the State of Oklahoma.
